We need to grow jobs, not government

David Eby has found plenty of jobs for government, but not for the people who build B.C.

Since 2019, 154,000 of B.C.'s new jobs have been on the government payroll. That is 58% of all job growth in the province, and no other province comes close.

At the same time, Eby's union-only rules keep most of B.C.'s construction workers off the big public projects your taxes pay for, like hospitals, bridges and highways, unless they join a union the government picked. Qualified tradespeople who are ready to work are being kept away from some of the best-paying jobs in the province.

The government payroll has nearly doubled, to $53.2 billion. Meanwhile, public projects cost more and take longer to finish, and B.C. is worse off for it.

On October 24, vote for a government that will get B.C. building again.
