Mental Health Leadership for BC Construction Supervisors | Training Thursday

Mental Health Leadership for BC Construction Supervisors | Training Thursday

Your best framer is late again. He's gone quiet, and on Friday he skipped tying off. You notice. But what do you say, and is it your place?

Construction workers face higher rates of depression, addiction, burnout and suicide than workers in many other fields. Supervisors are often the first to see it, yet many hold back, unsure of what to say or worried about legal risk.

This three-hour workshop from ICBA Training shows leaders how to spot the early signs, have a supportive talk without prying, meet their duties under WorkSafeBC rules and the BC Human Rights Code, and know when to bring in HR, safety, unions or outside help.

Your instructor, Paul Pelletier, is a former corporate lawyer with 30+ years in workplace conflict and more than 500 workshops delivered.
