ICBA’s 2021 Wage and Benefits Survey picked up some press last week:

ICBA NEWS: Hockey’s Back, and So Are We!

The 2021 NHL season kicks off tonight, with our beloved Vancouver Canucks taking on the highly overrated Edmonton Oilers, and ICBA is proud to announce that we are also kicking off another season of sponsoring Canucks reporter Jeff Paterson’s coverage on TSN 1040 Radio.

ICBA has a long relationship with TSN 1040, having sponsored J-Pat and the late Jason Botchford’s Patcast; coverage of BC-born players selected in the past two NHL drafts; J-Pat’s afternoon drive hits last year; and as title sponsor of the ICBA Benefits Seahawks post-game show this season.

This season, you’ll hear J-Pat’s coverage (brought to you by ICBA!) a lot:

  • Every weekday Game Day on The Halford and Brough Morning Show
  • Every weekday on the Blue and Green Lunch with Donny and the Moj
  • Every weekday on the Afternoon Drive with Sekeres and Price
  • Every Hockey Pre-Game Show
  • Every Hockey Post Game Show
  • Every week on Sports Saturday with Andrew Wadden

Tune in on TSN 1040AM and follow J-Pat on Twitter @patersonjeff.

ICBA WORKPLACE WELLNESS: Bell Let’s Talk Day 2021

January 28, 2021, is Bell Let’s Talk Day, a remarkable initiative where Canadians pause to discuss mental health.

This spring, ICBA will launch a new Workplace Wellness Program — where members can get access to a series of resources including videos, posters, handouts, toolbox talks, and much more — all centered on mental health.

In the meantime, ICBA Training is busy offering new, live webinars, including:

And much, much more — check out icba.ca/courses.

This year, let’s talk about mental health, let’s get equipped, and let’s make a difference.

#BCPOLI HOTSTOVE: Falcon Takes Flight

After a too-long ramble about government IT and iPads, ICBA’s Jordan Bateman and TheOrca.ca’s Maclean Kay settle in to discuss Kevin Falcon’s op-ed, how the BC Liberals can pivot to being allowed (by media and public) to credibly critique some NDP policies, and how happy the CPC should be to see Derek Sloan turfed out of the party.
