It's ICBA's 30th anniversary!
For 30 years, ICBA has been the voice of construction contractors working in the industrial, commercial and institutional sectors across the province.
The association was formed in Trail, in 1975, by a group of leaders who were frustrated by being repeatedly denied access to bid on public work by the then NDP provincial government. This group of trailblazers advocated open access for all public tendering and paved the way for many of the public structures now standing, to be completed by open shop contractors.
Today, ICBA has grown into a well-respected association with over 600 members, providing advocacy, apprenticeship and training programs, affinity benefits, WCB claims management, and a popular and competitive extended health benefits plan.
